Let me know what you guys think. im thinkin about buying a 2002 Blazer LS 4x4 75,838miles leather interior, heated seats, no tow package, V6 vortec engine, carfax reports an accident but airbags were not deployed. for $5400

 

I would be upset about the accident...
Around here, a vehicle like that without an accident would go for 5,500 from an individual or 6,000+ from a dealer depending on the cosmetics. (leaning heavily toward the +)

If you are going to tow, you can put an oil cooler in yourself, that isn't the hardest thing in the world to do.

If everything looks okay and drives okay and there is NO rust, you may be fine. However, if it acts goofy when you drive it (i.e. not running well, excessively out of alignment, etc.) I would say no. I just saw you specified 4X4, when I first wrote this, I skipped over that. That bumps the price up quite a bit. So, in that case I would say almost 10K from a dealer.

Some one on here gave very good advice when they said take it on atleast a 60 mile test drive to check for a ses light. I would Look for a color change in the paint and any kind of internal damage core support, door jams, to see if it was fixed propper. But in the end it is your choice and your money. thanks alot guys, with the carfax in hand i got him to come down $500 so for $4900 i went for it. im jus keeping my fingers crossed
