make sure he put matching gears in the front
otherwise thats more work you need to do before you can take it off road
i really wouldnt drive around too much with mis matched gears
plus it will be hard to check the transfer case when you do check it out

personally i wouldnt offer much more than 3 or 4 grand remember custom work does not always increase the value if there is no demand for the truck since its been forsale for so long there really isnt anyone else interested in it

I wouldnt give over $3k myself, and Im sure hell scoff at that cuz he probably has at least twice that much in it...thats also probably why its been for sale for so long.

Email and ask him what he is looking for cashwise and then you will know by the reply if its worth emailing him back. If you live close go take it for a good long test drive, better yet have a certified mechanic check it over. If it has what it says it does in the add it could be a worthwhile truck and he may want a pretty penny, I know I would.

If he isn't asking much then check and make sure it wasn't vin swapped/stolen and everything is legit.

What's up with the no phone number thing? And why does it have a rebuilders title? I am not going for the "abandoned" story. May be a flood vehicle. If it had a regular title, I might go as high as $6K but with a rebuilders title I would say $2K to $4K depending on how much you love it.
Keep in mind that you can buy a stock Blazer and add your own lift and tires for about the same if not probably cheaper... and you can always sell it for more with a regular title.
