Need a new soft top...Softopper or Skyler?

Currently have a Softopper on my '86 K5...that needs a replacement canopy (cracked and nearly opaque windows, broken strap, broken clips). A whole new canopy is only a couple hundred more than having them put new windows in, so I figure might as well just replace it all.
Was just about to order a new one, but recently discovered the Skyler tonnau style tops, and I'm kind of digging that style more than the Softtopper style. Current pricing is only a little more than what just the new canopy will cost me from Softopper..I've found a few threads on the Skyler tops, but they're all 10-15+ years old, and I've learned before - just because something was good years ago doesn't mean it's still good today. So curious if anyone has had somewhat recent experience with the Skyler tops...or something else like it?
