Default New Owner With Questions!

Hi all! I just picked up this 95 GMC Jimmy for my work ride. It's in great shape and needed a new tranny cooling line, which I had repaired. Aside from that, just odd and end updating of stuff I wanted done (shocks, brake lines, ect). Best part is, I paid $500, and not so much as a speck of rust! here in Pittsburgh, that's a rarity!

I'm now looking at another 95, but this would be a 2 door Blazer. My sister doesn't drive, but wants a 4x4. My niece drives (and has her own car), but want's something sporty so I think this will be a good compromise. Since my niece takes her mom all over, I think it's a good idea to get one they can both use.

There is one hitch with the Blazer I'm looking at though. Apparently, it needs a new rear end. I've priced them in junk yards and they're not too bad, but not sure if it's wise to go that route for such a fussy piece. Suggestions? Or better yet, experience? How big of a pain is it to put in? Thanks!

That's a steal on your Jimmy, nice find! For the 2-door, if you have the skills and tools, this should be a good project. Got pics?

Thanks! I don't have pics of the 2 Dr, but it doesn't seem to be,in,bad shape at all. The miles are high at 220,000 but parts are cheap and the price is right.
