Default New twist with my new radiator

So I finally got all the tranny fluid out of my coolant after installing a new rad..so i decided to give it another flush and fresh coolant. Everything seems ok, noticed drips on the driveway afterwards. Crawled under and there's a tiny dribble coming from the side outlet on the peacock? Weird ,it wasn't there when I first drained and refilled. Called the company, their replacing it but in the meantime I had to come up with a solution to stop that little dribble. Solved! Grabbed a hose endcap, nice shiny yellow one. Slid it over the little drain and clamped with a small compression hose clamp. No more leak thankfully in fact it's good enough that I think I'll leave as is till spring and install the replacement rad. And to be sure in both cases since I'll keep the first one as a back up, I'm plugging both of them with urethane sealant and clamped on hose caps. Don't really need that side drain. Taking the pet **** all the way out let's it drain quicker.
