Default no acc. option on my ignition??

well a few weeks ago i went with a friend to the drive-in movies cuz she was gonna bug me till i went lol, well we get there,i unhook my subs and go to turn the ignition to accessory so i can tune the radio to the fm station the sound was broadcasting on and i wouldn't go.So i checked the owners manual and it shows the truck having a acc.option but yet my ingnition only goes forward and not back to acc..was curious if this was a problem i should look into or if it was just something they did on the 97 bravadas?

Its your key.
I had the same problem, my key wouldnt allow me to switch back to accessories. I get the other key from my wife and hers allows the acc. to work.

You may have to go to the dealer with your vin number to get a new key made.

Let me guess, the new Wal-Mart key was made from the old key. The key is an exact duplicate of the old key.

your not the first person to make that mistake.

Hence my recommendation to get a new key from the dealer. It wont be a copy of a worn down key, it'll cost you more.
