No Fluid
If the plunger is in the depressed position then the proportioning valve should center itself once fluid pressure is applied to it. Did you prime (bleed) the master cylinder prior to trying to bleed the brake lines?
the master cylinder was never run dry with fluid, so no i didnt bleed the mc. Im thinking I may have to much air in my line and Im going to try gravity bleeding the rear.
*EDIT 1*
well been gravity bleeding right rear for an hour now and nothing is coming out
*EDIT 2*
ok finally got it, whoever owned it last plugged the line coming from the master cylinder to the rear brakes with a screw because of the busted cylinder. glad it was just a screw. Brakes are working good now.

I dont understand how a regulaer screw would seal it? there is an inverted flare inside there and the screw would have to have to proper seat to seal properly.... and where was this screw put exactly? im only asking because i may have to do it to my truck temporaly so i can drive it to the shop to get a flare done on the rear line by the shop. please help me and let me know
thanks
thanks
take the first line that goes to the rear brakes on the master cylinder of and get a round head screw that fits perfectly into the line and stick the screw in the line and hook it back up to the master cylinder and it stops the fluid.
