Damn...thats a scary wreck. Slightly worse then my tbone. The aerostar must have been way worse off. He must have been going some fast to do that much damage. Glad to hear you're ok (relatively) though. Atleast you're alive.

Damn.... You definitely have a guardian angel watching your back. Thank God no one was in the passenger seat, or they definitely wouldn't be here today. Hope you make a fast recovery man. Good luck!!

I almost t-boned some idiot in a sedan the other day. I was driving on a road with two lanes on each side. The girl thought it would be okay if she just pulled out to turn left around a truck in the right lane that was turning right onto the road she was on, leaving her completely blind to anyone in the left lane (ME). It was about 7:00 at night and raining, and of course my seat belt was not on. I was doing about 55mph and I honestly don't know how my blazer stopped just inches from hitting her. I only had about 25 maybe 30 feet to stop when I first saw her bumper stick out. Just thought I would share that with you guys.

rob44_90 I SERIOUSLY HOPE you learned to wear a fuking seat belt EVERY time you drive from there on out. that's got to be a very stupid move not wearing it to say the least and HAD you hit her car you woulda personally kissed the side of it during the crash.

back on topic, how's the healing process coming along so far?

Man, you're lucky. Like the others said, though, your arm will probably recover fine. I know someone who was never supposed to be able to walk again, but she's walking just fine. Hopefully you feel better. Just get your rest, have somebody rent some movies for you, etc. That's the key to recovery- not stressing out. Stress makes the body take longer to heal. Good luck, man.

Hopefully the forum won't have many more wrecks; it seems like everyone's had a wreck lately. Even I got into a wreck.

Yeah I'm willing to bet the aerostars engine block now sits in the back seats of it as hard of a hit that was.

@rob44 please god where your seat belts. I didn't like wearing em after my deployment cause we never wore em over there. Thank god when I got hit head on in my 92 blazer I had the seat belt on. Unfortionatly the guy in the ricer that hit me did not. Needless to say he went to the hospital and I walked away because I decided to buckle up that night.

Whenever I don't wear a seat belt, I feel exposed and vulnerable. There's been several times where I was lucky to be wearing my seat belt; nothing that bad, but just things that made me realize how much it helped out.

Was told that the vans front end was pushed back to where the dash was but the other guy walked out fine. He says to the vans owner insurance that he did not see me stopped around the curve and at the end of the hill so he didnt slow down for curve and hit me and since we have same insurance company they put it down as no fault along with the police report. The police report put down as I was moving and hit him with my right side but both parties disagreed with that so they put it down as no fault on both the police report and auto insurance part. The police did not take statements from either party and based the report 4 days after accident with no witnesses and having not seen the scene or either car. Both agents said that if there was a witness stating that he hit me it would be the other guys fault or even if the EMTs statement of what they thought mattered the other guy would be at fault. But as it stands there is not much I can do besides hope the ambulance district will lower the bill so it isnt 100000 since they charged 975 a mile and I rode 2 times in it once to the er the other time transfer to slu. The rest of my bills have been decreased greatly From 200000 to around 2000 with financial aid they helped out alot even with them knowing I cant pay it back right now they said wait till I get the last bill from the whole ordeal then go from there. Wish I had health insurance now and that work would have got all the paper work in when they said they would so I would of had it. Now its a fight with them to get my money back due to the new changes in the contract they did and we had to pay up front for.

Wow man that sucks. Some bad news but the best news is your healing nicely. Continue to heal get on your feet and go from there. The medical bills and everything will work itself out.
