Mine is a 98 4X4 with the 4.3 and I average between 18 and 20 depending on my trips. I use cruise control as much as I can.

The last couple of tanks I had sucked. I'm getting my "winter" gas mileage again. It's between 10 and 13 MPGs in my 95 Jimmy.

Let's see, 1989 Sport, 4.3v6 (bored.60 over) Auto tranny, everything else is stock. Tires are stock 235x75x15. I drive all the time, mostly in town not much freeway, I typically average between 18-21 mpg.

i typically get around 16-18 mpg. all stock 4.3, stock trans and gears. mix of driving. pretty easy on the gas most of the time. i run 87 in it. however we went to arkansas last month and i got 18mpg on the interstate with the inside full of stuff and 20mpg on the way back with the cruise set pretty much the whole way 65-70 mph.
