im getting 11mpg driving mixed hwy /city. i have a 89 full size 5.7 engine running on 33 tires. i have a full push bar with a 8 tone winch in the middle. not to bad for a old girl. just had the tranny rebuilt and steering wheel bolts tightend though it was going to fall in my lap. lol.
its 4x4
1.5" t-bar cranck, 235/75/15(stock rims), brushguard w/lights, and cargo carrier on top. I got 18.9 average on a 276mile round trip nuthing but interstate at 70mph. Before I went and bought the carrier... 19.2 was the best I was reading. But I was driving 60.
i do alot of highway driving to and from work, i picked up about a mile to the gallon with the change to 30x9.50-15 tires, average around 19-20 mpg on the highway with 3.73 gears....97 4-door! and my speedometer is dead on with the gps!
I'm getting @ 18-19mpg. Mix of city and expressway driving. It's a 2001 LT Blazer 4x4 with 3.42 open rear. It's in 4-auto all the time. It has 168k miles. No real deep service. Still has the original injector spider and o2 sensors. It runs pretty smooth but it doesn't have the power it used to. It does need some front end work. It's a bit loosey goosey in the steering and during a turn, it sounds and feels like you're going over some rumble strips.
