I've been watching my mpg for the past few weeks now. With mixed driving highway and interstate I keep coming up with around 12.14 mpg (this has been the lowest) but never higher than 13 unless all interstate I get 15.5mpg. Of course this is with 33X12.5 mud terrain tires and only 342 gears. I do a lot of trailering too. I remember the days I used to get 22mpg on the interstate before it was lifted

THATS the only thing holding me back from putting bigger tires and a bigger lift on it. I put WAY to many highway km on it to put a higher lift. When i get another car for highway and what not the blazer will get its lift.

wow, thats like having 3.01 gearing, probly never shifts into overdrive and may be lugging even in 3rd. 4.10 gears would help that somewhat, but you would still have the weight/mass of those huge tires.

Yah it's killer sometimes. It still tows pretty descent though on the interstate. I tow my boat which is around 2500 maybe a little less and it pulls it along pretty good for the mismatched gears. I plan to regear soon I should of done it in the first place because I do almost 15k of driving a year. 410 gears will help so much though I'm pretty excited for it

My mileage has hardly changed since I bought my 99 4wd LT in 2000. 18 avg mpg and about 21 highway. I don't dare calculate my mileage when I'm towing my boat or I'd stop towing my boat. Don't have any idea what my gear ratio is but it's whatever was stock. Never been off road with it and use passenger tires. Haven't seen snow since 2003 and only use 4wd if I have trouble pulling my boat out of the water on a steep ramp.
