2000 Blazer, 2wd, 4 door, AT, completely stock: 14.7 mpg average (40% highway, 60% city)
My driving style is mixed...most of the time it's under 2k rpm, but every now and then you just have to floor it.

She only gets 16-17 mpg with 90% highway driving. Going to change o2 sensor and coolant temp sensor to see if I can get better.

After driving my 03 LS Blazer 4X4 for about a month now, it makes my 04 Ford Ranger with the 4.0 with 4.10's and 4X4 seem like a gas sipping Honda. Im not surprised the Blazer is a hog, I havnet done an official mpg test on it yet. But Im doing a full tune up on it, and am hoping to see some better results....
Just changed all my fluids, which included front and rear differentials with synthetic gear oil,
transmission fluid change to Dexron 6 along with a quart of Lucas Additive,
synthetic oil change 10w 30. Went on a 1500 mile highway trip through Illinois,
Indiana, Pennsylvania, to Maryland. Did this in 3 days. I got 22.7 miles to the gallon.
I ran only 91-92 octane. I ran an average of 65mph. Actual mileage was 1552,
and used 68.3 gallons. Saved a lot on airfare. I had 3 other people in the vehicle
besides me.

i have a 2001 blazer xtreme 2dr 4.3 v6, with 20" rims and prob around 1000 watt stereo all together. I get HORRIBLE mileage. its an automatic, which i strictly drive between 1500 and 2000 rpms. I GET 10 MPG on a good week around town strictly. just had an oil change too. any ideas for the poor mileage?
97 4x4x4 blazer gets about 15.5 mpg got a 4.3 with a CAI, throttle body spacer, Flowmaster exhaust, & a high flow cat. running the stock 3.42 gears with an auto trans (4l60e) also running 31x10.50r15 A/T tires. prolly about 90% highway miles 35 minutes to work at 65-70 mph rpms stay at about 2k for the majority of the trip.
I'll vote later. I was getting about 18mpg on the trip up to ny at the best. But I just replaced the fuel pressure regulator and it's running a lot better. So expect to see my mpg go up. I'll vote at my nest fill up. So far I'm down to a half tank and 165 miles.
