for me, all i have is full synthetic oil and a K&N drop in air filter so not much really. i just don't run my air conditioning because i put my windows down and also don't smash the gas pedal to the floor ever
18-19 is closest, actual is 17-18, city driving mostly, 4.3L auto 2wd 4 door rarely above 3k rpms, if i drive agressive it drops to 16-17, if i drive to san antonio and back it gets 21-22 @ 75-80mph
well, i drove from Detroit, Michigan to Ashburn Virginia. i stopped once on the 523 mile trip and was getting 23mpg with A/C on low because my dog was dying in the back seat and i was doing 65-70 except for when at the toll booth. that made my trip a good one
1997, 4.3, all stock, 4wd, city driving i get about 14-16mpg driving sensably (without smashing the gas), highway i'm not sure since I don't get on highways very often. But since I like to burn the tires, im always smashing the gas and leaving a nice strip down the street so i probably get about an average of 10-12mpg in the city.
*This is based off of a half of tank of 87 regular fuel since I have a slight leak and im not exactly sure where yet. I just know when I fill up i smell gas horribly compared to when i get half full. With a half tank I get 130-135 miles before is completely empty. I got a 20gal tank (i know this because when I first got it, it was so empty that i ran on fumes to the gas station and filled it up and it took 19.983 gallons @ $2.45 a gallon. Cost me $50 fill it)

empty usually means 13-14 gallon fill up depending on how long I personally have been on E. i know if i fill up the moment i get the light i have to put 14.5 in almost on the nose. so, if you fill up before empty light that sounds ok.
I get about 14-15 mpg. Sometimes a LOT better, sometimes a little worse. I do a lot of hard stops and gun it frequently- believe me, it's not on purpose, but people are always cutting me off or trying to rear end me. Most of my driving is in town. I go on the highway almost every day, but only for about 2 or 4 miles or so, and not greater than 50 mph. I'm not sure about the gear ratios or anything, I'm just starting out, but Neko has the 4.3L V6 with a 3 speed automatic with overdrive.
