Lightbulb Oil grade at 92,000 miles....

Don't know too much about oil grades and mileage, so I was wondering what is the appropriate grade I should drop in for the trucks mileage at 92,000. I have a 99 blazer. thanks guys/gals.

Since you live in Pasadena, I recommend either 5W30 ot 10W30. The mileage is not a factor in the grade you use. You're not having oil consumption issues, are you?

Yeah I would say 5W30 or 10W30. Also, I wouldn't buy quaker state or penzoil heard a lot of places that they suck.

I have heard of cavitation issues with Pennzoil. Never experienced them but heard from those who have.

Go with the 10-30. I did notice on a high mileage vehicle that it used less oil on straight 30 w but I lived in south fl where it was hot all year round.I use 10-30 w in all my vehicles no matter what the mileage.

I dont consider 90,000 miles high mileage.

Use the recommended oil for your driving conditions.
