Default Out of storage - 1985 Blazer and Four Wheel Camper

Cleaning her up and getting some mechanical issues fixed. Due to health reasons I have not long term camped in this rig since 2013. Released from medical restrictions last week so I am fired up. Will not camp much till September due to heat but will go for some overnight trips.

Sweet! That's the way to go anywhere and camp in comfort. Glad you're able to start enjoying it again.

New suspension, 3” Tuff Country. Old suspension was a 4” Rough Country. The old suspension developed metal fatigue problems and Blazer was cockeyed . This rides better and I can get in truck a lot easier. Need to get rid of steps now. Also has airbags, drivers side has more weight Due to refrigerator and water supply being on the drivers side, can level with airbag as I can add air to each side separately.

Looking at your pics again, I just now realized that you have a full-pass through arrangement from the camper to the cab. The must make the camper seem a lot larger and the whole thing easier to use.

Super nice set-up!!

Fossil hunting in Western Kansas. The finger I am camped on is about 10 yards wide, the digging below the camper at the bottom of the wash is a Ptychodus Mortoni specimen I found, that is why I am camped there, I could just walk down the incline to scratch around. It is a shell crushing/eating shark and there were approximately 550 teeth, some cartilage and two vertebrae. I had picked up a few hundred teeth and ran into some cartilage and knew I had something good so called in a professional to finish the exposure. I donated the specimen to the Sternberg museum in Hays, Kansas. This picture is looking East, I will post another picture from the couch in my camper facing West, beautiful area.
