what happened was that 3 of the studs on that wheel snapped while i was driving 90km/h+ resulting in the centre cap flying off along with my studs and nuts and the remaing two to deteriorate very quickly throwing my wheel into a major off balance situation making my steering wheel rapidly go from side to side suddenly while driving down the highway and me pulling off the road emergency style and my wheel nearly flying off. lucky i didnt crash.... this is the result of not cleaning the rims off after a hard core mudding session making my rim severely off balance.





so i replaced all 5 studs and lug nuts (this was a 2 week old wheel bearing too so those studs were brand new.... must not have been all that strong, and i had them properly torqued 85ft/lbs i was pissed when it happened and i had to drive about 15km with only 2 lugs which were barely holding on, i did 20km/h with the 4 ways on the whole way home

were they all power or not? I may have to do some junkyard shopping since I really like how those look and mine are really faded.
