Default Overhead console (DIC) removal

How do you remove the short overhead console with sunroof?
Have removed the front screw, but can't get the rear console to release. Used fair amount of force, don't want to break it.

Did you figure this out?

If not, I can look up in my 99 service manual.

I was today years old when i discovered my truck is missing the wire holder trim piece above the rear view mirror. thanks, now i will be forever annoyed that i will probably never be able to find one anymore lmao.

For the DIC, very carefully pull down at the back, its clipped in with metal trim panel clips on either side and i broke one of the pegs when i replaced the computer on my Trailblazer, they get very brittle with age and heat cycling.

Thanks for info on clips.
Tried using putty knife to pry console down, but i stopped. I thought GM may be using those clips and know plastic pegs often break off.
Think will wait for hot day with the plastic less prone to breaking and try again.
