That's good to know. This one looks clean and had the trans replaced last year according to the dealer. They also said the previous owner took good care of it maintenance wise.

vacuum problems, frame cracks around the lower control arm mounts, rusted out body mounts, intake gaskets, poor tire carrier support leading to body damage, saggy rear springs

Well, depending on where you live, anyway! Us non-rust belters don't have these problems!

I,will check these spots out and see what I find. The body isn't all rotted away so I'd assume the undercarriage looks decent

the frame cracks aren't a rust issue


must be nice not having to deal with rust, find me a third door for my Sonoma :P

So just check out the lower control arms foe cracks and frame mounts?

Yeah, well not the control arms themselves. It's the frame that cracks, usually from where the rear control arm mount is welded to the frame.
