General ChatChat about all things Blazer (and related vehicles). Off-topic stuff should be in the lounge, and all mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.
In 16 years of ownership my Blazer has never let me down in the snow, and 97CHERRY you know we are going to want to see pictires of your rescue mission.
Yeahh... lol well. we took my friends 88 s10 blazer up there because it has 31" Goodyear DuraTracs (and DAMN those tires are amazing in snow!!) but turns out they got 2.5 feet of new snow just at the bottom! so we started driving up the road pushing snow with the grille, no traction problems with those tires then we came across a tree down in the middle of the road. so we started walking up and decided to turn around because the snow got to deep up farther. so i didnt get many pics
I will take lots of pics of the exciting rescue tomorrow or Friday. we have a friend who has a jeep on 37's, front and back lockers, and a big winch. Unfortunately the mountains are supposed to get 72" of new by Friday. So if that jeep cant get up there then i hate to say it but that Toyota is stuck up there all winter
