Question Quick question about 1976 Blazer...

I have inherited a 1976 Chevy Blazer with a new motor in it from what I've been told... The body isn't in great shape with some rust spots, just curious what I could get for this? Don't have any idea what to ask for it, but want to get rid of it, been setting in my drive for over a year now... Anyone that can offer any help, it would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks, Nick

While I don't have a real answer for you, a good idea would be to check craigslist, eBay, etc, to see what others like yours are gong for. Blue book probably won't be much help, considering how old it is. Also, maybe Hemmings, but I'm not sure if they would have something like that. A quick craigslist search in my area shows K5s going for anywhere between $2,000-$5,000, depending on condition, lift, tires, etc.

Edit: yeah, pictures would help, too!

Yeah sorry for not having any pics... Like I said the body isn't in great shape with some rust... Just wanting an idea of what I could possibly get... I was just gonna ask like a few hundred dollars, just didn't want to let it go too cheap if it was worth a lot...lol... I've never really tried to get rid of a vehicle this old, so I had no idea what to ask for it... Don't think I would ask someone to pay $2000.00 or anything like that, maybe $200...lol... Anyway, thanks...
