Default Quick question bout turn signals

I've seen some blazers (2nd gen)that haveaseperate white part on the turn signals in the front and I was wondering what they are. I thought that they might be daytime running lights (instead of the high beams at lower intensity), but i'm not to sure. Because the 2000 and up suburbans, tahoes, and silverados have the daytime lights like that.

They are factory fogs I believe and most people that have them don't find them incredibly useful (from what I've read).

The factory fog lights utilize the inside light on the turn signal package. I'll bet that's what you've seen. Unless somebody modifies them to do so, they are not the DRL's.

They are factory fogs. My Brazer has them and I don't find them particularly usefull. Does someone have a mod that can make them more powerful, or can I at least replace them with something else?

HIDs

My blazer has the wiring harness for them and there is even a relay and fuse in the box for it, but no switch and no place for the lights to go. I'm wondering why the harness is there if they didn't bother to utilize it. I was think of possibly adding another set of fogs behind the valence vents just to add to my arsenal of lights and using the harness for that.
I may not even add more lights. May be too much...lol I'll have better lighting than Dad's jeep...lol
