Default Question bout K&N FIPK filter.

I recently bought a K&N FIPK for my truck on eBay. I should be getting it shortly. I have been looking around, and i noticed this wrap from K&N that goes around the filter itself. It claims 2 keep the filter cleaner and that it eliminates having 2 clean the filter often. Do you guys think that this wrap will restrict my airflow, and create less power, and do u think that it will actually work?

If you are talking about the K&N dry charger (http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...Prod=RF-1035DK) these are mainly to keep water out of the filter since k&n filters are prone to sucking up water. They won't decrease your performance at all but I'm not sure if it will nesicarily keep your filter cleaner
