so I've had this thought in my head i noticed some of the rpo codes for my k5 come up with newer things, for example MD8 comes up automatic transmission 4speed thm700r4, but it also comes up with the 4l60 had, 4l70 e heavy duty. So I wonder if anyone's tried going to gm and seeing if they would/could upgrade to that?
also wonder if anyone's thought about taking a #matching k5 and upgrading to a 96-99 vortec harness and top end?
Was thinking it might show gm the love people have for the k5 while keeping it close to original with out ls swapping it.
That 2019 blazer is a blazer yes but it's the s10/trail blazer not the full size tank.

Every ones skipping 94-01+, tbi stoped in 95 for Tahoe, seems like the heartbeat of America skipped to many beats and flatlined.

I've noticed that some rpo codes mean "the best we make" among brands. Pontiac used WS6 for their performance handling package on many different cars.

My opinion of the new blazer is the same as the new nova in the 80's. Hoping I don't have to use the word "besmirch" again.

I think 'Z28' was a Camaro RPO that ended up a Camaro model name. GM also used FE3 for some of their high performance suspension levels.
