i have an 89 full size blazer and wanted to remove the top. i've been told that these blazers were infamous for leaking when you put the top back on. wanted to know if there was any truth to this or can i remove away and have fun.

It's very possible that it can start leaking if the seals are rotted out. After 20 years that's not out of the question. It's up to you whether you want to open that can of worms. I'm sure they sell replacement seals at LMC or other similar venders.

I know for a fact that I will be putting mine back on with new seals. Mine already leaks a bit.
