Default rear trunk or side vents located

hey guys does anyone know where the side or rear trunk vents are located ? you know the ones they install so when you shut your doors your ears dont pop haha, well heres the crazy thing, every vehicle ive had with subs in the back when you roll down your windows the bass gets louder, well on my blazer its louder with them up,but i walked around the back and noticed air is coming out the slots on the corners of the back, the black plastic slotted looking pieces around the side glass, well air is coming threw those and im wondering if thats something to do with the hidden vents for when you shut your doors lol
sorry i know its kind of a weird question .im curious if they are related to the outside slots, and mine have some dry rotted cracked holes from the sun or something on the outside.so yea if anyone knows just holler because trying to google this went no where.bass is escaping the rear somewhere.wanted to ask first before i remove the rear top plastic piece with rear dome light then pull back side panels to look.

They're right behind the plastic pieces on the outside. I've broken my rear windows a couple of times, so I've seen them up close and personal, lol.

haha how did you do that ? so are they on the sides then on the inside ? lol this is funny. i turn up my sub and you can hear the air coming out the two slots on the outside,so i guess i will just have to try to pull back the rear corner panel and look.

I bumped one into a boulder, and the other one into a tree. Tight trails, lol.

I've never pulled off the inside panel, so I can't say for sure what they look like on the inside, but it should be easy enough to find out. Take pictures when you do.

On the 4 door, there's a couple screws to remove them, then the plastic slides upwards away from the tail light... for the 2 door, I'm not sure if that piece is removable...

I removed mine to paint them to match the body color lol...

yea i would for sure say tight trails Tom haha northern california huh wow i bet thats so pretty, your lucky man.well i mean i wouldnt want to live in the actual state itself just for my own reasons but i would love to drive north on that highway to the redwoods.
ok so im going to remove the top piece that holds the two side panels in place and try to look with a light to see where the bass waves are escaping to the slots on the black trim around the window, gaawwddd i hate interior work haha.as for pictures man i just want to get this over as fast as possible, its going to be a tight squeeze because the side interior panels are like 8 ft long haha and im not going to fully remove them because you have to take the rear seats out,i have a amplifier behind one side and a yellow top behind the passenger side hidden in the tiny compartments.later guys

Believe me, I understand. I can't wait to get out of here, either. But yes, the mountains are pretty amazing.

As for your vent issue, you could always drill a couple of holes and inject expanding foam.

eehhhh dont worry about it Tom,hell be glad your living in such a gorgeous place.i live in a national forest but its just super thick tall big pines and hot as hell in the summer haha but no neighbors to drive me crazy, except one guy down the highway shoots tanerite sometimes and pisses everyone off for miles haha.
so i looked on the back drivers side where the spare tire bracket used to be,i removed all that long time ago and theres so many little holes and voids, theres no telling where the vent is located at man,so i gave up.i used a entire can of expandable foam when i had it gutted and was putting sound deadener inside you can take your knuckles and knock on the top of my blazer and its solid and most of the other panels are too,i knew it was going to rattle with a sub in the back, but i never knew i would run into this vent problem in the back.oh well back to bigger and other things in life now right lol.take it easy guys
