hahaaaaa i have found my summer project, i been needing one for a while, was gonna restore a car during my collage years but this is more fun

Cool idea! The only thing that you may have to do is reinforce the frame. I know that the old K5s have a stronger, reinforced frame in the full convertible that in the model that has a solid roof over the cab.
So I just got the real thing instead.
Now I'm going to have to try fishing from it though.
