Smelling gas
Good morning all, I have a 2001 blazer 4dr, 4x4 with a 4.3. Last night I smelt fuel but didn't know where it was coming from, so today, I went to get some gas and decided to look under my car, it seemed like a small leak was dripping onto my gas tank. I have previously dealt with a rusted-out brake line, and I have completely replaced that system. My only question would be, would it most likely be the brake line, or would it be the gas tank itself? I know to be sure, it would need to be removed and looked at.
Also, the liquid seems to be like a milky white dripping. I know that's unusual for the back, but maybe that was some type of gas mixing with rusted metal, possibly. Any help would be great, thanks.

I am not familiar with this system but if it's anything like the one on my Ford van, steel lines come up out of the tank and they can rust out. If you smell gas, I wouldn't suspect brakes. I don't know what to say about it being milky, put your finger in it and smell it.
