You can always put bags of sand or someting heavy over the wheels. My buddy puts bags of sand over his rear wheels on his 5.8 dodge. 2wd

The Radial T/A's aren't too bad of a tire... Should do you pretty good!

I got around in last winter without getting stuck in my 2wd S10, running BFG Premiers

In curious to see how the Blazer does in the snow. My Dad says it alwaysdid great. My Tracker has always been unstoppable, but I'm probably not going to drive it much over the winter unless I have to. I'll save if for the off-road and fun in the sun.

A decent set of tires, a couple lbs of weight... Not all that needed in an SUV... And a good right foot, and you'll never need 4x4 for most of the road conditions...

This will be my first winter with the Blazer. I'm kinda gettin' bummed out. It sounds like I'm not going to need4wd for the snow. I guess I'll have to get off the pavement! It is good to hear that these trucks are good in the snow however.

You won't NEED it... But sometimes it's just so much fun to use it pulling that Dodge or Ford out of the ditch...
