Mine did good for the most part. Although I did loose control once after screwing around and hit a mail box. That was in 2wd and with bald tires. I was also got packed in with snow from the snow plow when I was parked on the street. The snow was pretty damn deap and I got out of that without much problem. That was also with the bald tires. I now have some good tires so I hope I can do better this year.

I dunno what kinda tires yall runnin but my jimmy in 2hi on snow or ice is useless. any sort of incline is impossible to get up.

wednesday morning I had to leave for work at 4:15am to drive 220km to work. And just my luck we get freezing rain and a dusting of snow. Well lets just say I went in the ditch once, almost twice.
was freaky!!!!! I never want to do that again.

I eventually put it in 4hi and it was alot better, but some spots looked like dry pavement, so I wasent sure if it was a good idea, but I'm not taken anymore chances.

If there's not much snow... and a lot of freezing rain, then drive in the ditch, lol.

My BFG's do good on snow and.... passable, on ice... They're too wide of a tire for good ice grip...

I plan on picking up a set of Yokohama Geolandar I/T's in a 215/80/R15 size... Apparently meets the load rating for my truck, and is about the same OD as the stock rubber...

Ahhh, a little different than mine... Mine came with 235/75/R15... When I went to price the winter tires, the tire guy didn't believe me that my truck came with those, lol. He thought I had the 70 series...

You could always go to a 225/75, it's pretty much the same height as the 235/70...

It all depends on what your winters are usually like...

We get a lot more ice than snow, usually, so that's why the BFG's are gonna be on the shelf for awhile...

I'll probably squeak by a little while by lowering the air pressure in them for now...
