Default So, I did a thing.......again.

A while back I bought a 2 door Blazer and a 4 door Jimmy. Got both for 1200 from auction. Well, I came across another 2 door. How did I justify this to the wife you ask? I explained that at least this one ran and drove already What can I say, it's an addiction .
As a side note, I finally got tired of not getting the other 2 done, so I took a week off from work. I'm finally hoping to get the 3"lift done on the Jimmy this week, if I can get the darn fuel system straightened out. I also finally got the long block for the other Blazer, so I might be able to get it up n running by end of week also. Crossing my fingers

Default Update.....

So, it turns out the 2000 had more serious rust than I thought, initially. I knew it was there, but it's deep and it turns out the frame has a really bad spot behind the driver's front wheel, and the front body mount bolts and brackets were pretty much gone. I decided to pull the engine (which ran really well) and transplanted into my '96 Blazer. That being the case- the '96 lives. Lift kit is finished (RC 2.5" suspension and 2" body) and she is sitting level. Motor runs smooth and she drives nice. Just need to get it cleaned up. Only thing I'm not liking is the huge amount of space in the wheel wells. Gonna have to remedy that. I didn't expect the lift to make that big a difference.
The Jimmy is getting a color change in the next week or so (they already have it), so the timing is perfect. Gotta free up some space for that adventure😁.

Yeah- definitely going to have to see what I can fit in there. Scouring the local internet trying to find something. Don't want to shell out a whole lot of funds when I got some ideas and plans for the Jimmy.
