Default Starting issues

I have a 2001 Chevy Blazer. Car ran a little rough before this but, we recently hard two days of a hard freeze after which my blazer would not crank. Battery sounded dead turns out needed to be replaced. I will add before I removed it to be replaced the engine did start one last time. I replaced the battery now it will turn over but never start, sounds like it fires every now and then. I did put gas in the carburetor to see if I could kickstart it. I thought maybe it was flooded and tried any techniques to find out even check and filter and pump are fine too.....ANY HELP?
