General Chat Chat about all things Blazer (and related vehicles). Off-topic stuff should be in the lounge, and all mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

Strange findings! To me anyway.

So far I'm impressed with these tyres. There is a low noise from them but only when it's quiet inside. Seem to grip well & certainly feels like a more comfortable ride. Certainly compared to the BFG's I had before.
As for the increased height, at first it felt a bit higher but not anymore. Might just have been a psycological thing. LOL

Yea, we must meet up soon. Truck goes for service & tune-up on the 24th. Might have a CV joint issue on right front so i'll get that fixed before I hit the beach. So maybe the week-end after the 24th.

Weekend of the 24th sounds great.
What do you normally do you get done on your service & tune up?
I was going to get a trans flush but have heard some nasty stories so i'll just drop the trans oil pan and change the filter, going to look for an oil pan with a drain plug [there's one on TradeMe at the moment] and then it can be done when it has an engine oil change.

Not sure exactly what they're going to do but I want a full service including oil & filter changes in engine, tranny, transfer case & diffs. Full tune up including new plugs, leads, dizzy cap & rotor & whatever else goes with it. At 98k I figure it's a good idea. My bank manager of course disagrees. LOL

My biggest critic & hurdle, but she's come to realize how special this truck is. LOL
