Default Thinking about buying an ‘87 s10 blazer

I was thinking about buying an ‘87 s10 blazer. It’s got 101k miles on it for $5,500. Paint looks good and no rust but the guy said the ac compressor seems to be going out and one of the window motors is bad. I don’t mind the out dated interior or anything I just love these s10’s a lot. Would it be a bad idea to try and daily drive this thing?

Not knowing the history on something that old, I sure you are very handy working on older vehicles. Asking price seems pretty high to me, though. I see no reason not to make a daily driver out of it as long as it is capable of doing it.
