Default Tick from Spider Injector?

Hello there everyone,

New here to the Blazer forum, but I figured it was the best bet to find answers to a perplexing problem. We have a 2000 Blazer with the 4.3 engine, that developed a severe lope and misfire. Found the fuel trims to be extremely high with an immediate loss of fuel pressure - figured the spider was bad as it would hit the target fuel pressure and the pump is new (few months old). Replaced the spider with a remanufactured unit and all seemed well but the lope was still there. The distributor fixed the rest of that problem. The new spider however makes a random "click" that is similar to when a spark plug wire arcs against the plug or exhaust. Replaced it again and am experiencing the same issue. With each click the engine has a single misfire. It is quite a perplexing problem, but no vacuum leaks, no spark issues, etc. Fuel pressure is at 65psi, fuel trims in closed loop are at 7.6 on bank one and 3.9 on bank 2. Any ideas? I am quite new to the spider injection style system as my other Blazer is a 1991 K5 Blazer with the TBI.
