Default Timing

Hi I’m getting a timing light for my 2000 blazer and was wondering an easy way to look at my fly wheel so I can time it correctly...and if there’s any pointers I’d love to hear them...this past year I’ve been really enjoying working on it (after I fix the issues lol) and would love not to have to go to a mechanic to time my vehicle. Thanks guys

Your 2000 has a Computer controlled ignition/fuelpulse timing. There is nothing you can change except the Cam sensor retard value which you want as close to 0 as possible.

It's a value (a number), not a valve. It needs to be checked with a scanner and adjusted (if necessary) by elongating the hole in the distributor hold down and slightly turning the distributor. Turning the the distributor will have zero effect on ignition timing.
