I’m sure this is a stupid question, but right above the front driver’s side window there is a little grill, it looks like either a tiny speaker or a mic or something, what is it?

I do not have a stereo right now (the previous owner had some after market system and kept it) so I can’t test it to see if any sound comes from there. Could it be the mic for some sort of after market on star system?
