i gotta do somethin about my lights. im not sure which way to go though. i havent seen for sure but im 99% sure halo projectors would be illegal here in va, driving w/ the halo on that is. and they look awesome but that kinda defeats the purpose...also im leary of the $30-50 tails on ebay, but the more expensive ones are WAY more expensive, and i dont want to put out that much (or someone else- birthday, christmas). so ive been thinking about blacking them out instead. but how much do those covers restrict the light coming out?
The halos shouldn't be illegal, they are considered parking lights.A fewvehicles have them from the factory. I haven't had any trouble withthe four of minehere in NC. Google it or ask a cop and he can tell you the law. According to all the item descriptions I've seen, they are 50-state legal.
If you are not sure and you'd rather be safe than sorry... These would be a good choice to go with. Or if you want the signals too.... CLICK ME

No problem man. I was going to get those.... Until I saw Dory's, and I thought those would look a lot better on my ride. The good thing about the non-projectors is they match the signals more so than the projectors.
Mine have not oxidized at all. I wax my headlights to protect from that. The thing you really have to watch for is water holding. Make sure when you put them on, you make sure thelittle caps are on good I suggest heating them with a hair dryer to expand the sealant in them, so it sticks well.
