Default Towing capacity 89 s10 blazer

Hey I'm tryin to find out the towing capacity of an 89 s10 blazer 4x4, I'm looking at buyin a camper and I'm a curious as to the amount of weight it can pull

Search your regular production order (RPO) codes to see what tow package it's equipped with. Also find out the weight capacity of your receiver hitch. Finally make sure your brakes are in top shape. You will notice increased stopping distance.

I believe they have 5000 lb towing capacity with class 3 hitch. Like rusty said double check your braking capacity, it might be around 6000lbs so your trailer should have elec brake.

1994 Chev Blazer S10 4x4 mine has the RPO and is rated to 6000 lbs.

As said check the RPO.

Blazers might have the RPO chart either in the glove compartment stickered to the floor or one of the front doors close to the lock where you also can find the tire pressure charts.
