Default Trans controller opinions?

Anyone have any experience with this controller KMJ Performance :: Programmers/Performance Chips :: 93-07 4l60E GM Chevy Jet 70701 Transmission Controller or any opinions? I'd like to firm up my shifts (even more than they are now) for off road driving, this is the cheapest option i've found (most are $700 and up)

I know with my hypertech I can change shift points, firmness etc. I didn't look at that link/product but with a hypertech you can do that & a lot more. IE: gear ratios, tires height, premium/regular octane, read & clear DTC's, WOT rev limiter & a few more I'm sure, just can't remember.
Sorry no real usefull info to your OP, just my 2 bits on a hypertech & my experience.
You may be able to find on online cheaper than the $400 retail approx. Just make sure it's been set back to stock - as in the orginal vehicle has been set back to stock. Otherwise it's a paperweight & no use unless you get hypertech to fix it.
