Cool Transfer case vacuum switch

Question folks: 93 Blazer 4x4, push button selection 233 transfer case. I'm replacing the vacuum actuator for the front axle with the Posi-Lok manual actuator. Since this will eliminate the need for a vacuum signal to come from the transfer case vacuum switch to engage the front axle, do I even need this switch anymore at all? Should I just plug off the lines or remove it totally and cap it off, or do I still need it as a vent? I'm hoping that doing this and replacing the encoder motor at the same time will fix my problem, if not, the only other thing it could be is the TCCM causing my problems. I do hear it clicking and both lights flash then stay on when I put it in nuetral and press the switch, but 4WD still no worky. I bought this thing used a few months ago and this has to be the biggest POS system I've ever seen GM make. I appreciate any and all intelligent responses.
