Exclamation Troubleshooting HID lights

Ok, have a simple project that turned into a complex one. I have a 2000 blazer and I decided to install HID headlights into my low beams (9006). The project seems pretty easy since everything is plug and go. When I instald them, I can't get them to turn on. I was just wondering what im doing wrong, if it has something to do with my daytime running lights. Please help.. thank you

try changing the polarity, flip the connecting plug over that goes into ur ballast. do the drivers side first. sumtimes this is whats wrong. had too in my toyota and my vw. do the drivers first cause the blazers wiring harness for the headlights runs thru the drivers side first.

You can 'force' it to line up. It may involve some grinding off the tab that keeps it from going in the wrong way, but you can fit it in. i had to do that with mine and they worked afterwards. Just a quick note, when you turn the headlights on, listen if the ballasts click on or not.

I got it to fire on, I needed a better ground so, so I drilled a new whole and put a washer on it and works like a champ now. Thanks guys.. I was going to put up pictures but don't know what to use to upload them.
