Yeah I'm super excited to finally have full sized. To be honest I won't be doing anything to it for a long time. Probably not for the first year or so beyond maintenance. It needs a pitman arm, wheel bearing and strut bushings right off the bat. Other then that I won't be doing any mods.
And thanks for the site Benedict. I'll poke around there. To be honest I probably won't be that big into foruming with this truck...just no time to be an active member.

I think that's the only motor available in those trucks.
That's the year they switched to the 5.7 Vortec. No more throttle body injection and a 50 hp jump.

I hope so for Alex's sake

fullsizechevy.com you say? I may jump over there from GMfullsizeforum.com... I'm fed up of the childish antics of 90% of that forum.

It's fully loaded including leather...4x4, towing package (with trailer brake), K&N filter, no rust, body is in mint shape, 200k KM on a 96, which is awesomely low mileage, newish AT tires on it, everything working.
not a bad looking truck. (Brad was telling me about it today while i was working on his truck) i'm surprised that you didn't rip off those TL grill guards when you picked up the truck. (Brad was also kind enough to point them out to me as well)

mines still bigger than yours Alex.

seriously though, after finding out your size, i'm surprised you stayed in the Blazer this long. don't get me wrong, i luv mine, but i find it a little lacking on interior space sometimes.

congrats on finding a new ride quickly. and one that you seem to be excited about owning.
