Thanks guys. Ive always had 94-97 S-10's and I have a 95 Blazer now. But i want a newer one. And yes, the 98 and up front ends and interior is beautiful. Thanks!!

hey Sisk, i think i figured out what make my '98 better, i mean different, from your '01. i can open my rear window without using keyless, OR going inside to hit the dash switch. the '98's have a key lock on the liftgate, makes it great for locking the truck up after unloading it.

Are you talking about the little button next to the rear wiper that pops the hatch open?

well i stand corrected (it happens, hahahaha). all of the '99 to '04 Blazer/Jimmy's have had a cover over that spot, no key lock.
it is a handy option though.

I believe in '02 the EGR was deleted, so I would look for something '02 and up.

Though, personally, I think the best year is 1972.
