What do you call these?

Default What do you call these?

2001 Chevy Blazer.

When you fold the rear seat backs down to make a larger cargo floor, there are two spring-hinged panels which cover the gap behind the rear seat. What do you call those?

On mine, the plastic has become brittle after 24 years in Texas heat, and they're crumbling apart. I need to replace them. But I can't hit upon the magic keywords in internet searches to find replacement parts.

Does anyone know the official name for these panels?

I believe they are called "PANEL, Floor And Toe Panel."

I think these are on these pages:

By gosh, you found the magic words! Thank you. I see only one-half available there. Now that I have the magic search terms, maybe I can find the other half too.

Or if all else fails, I can fashion some covers out of plywood, with strips on the bottom to make them fit and hold them in place.

You likely could find these in a U-Pull wrecking yard for a low price. I found a just about perfect rear carpet for mine in such a place. I was able to use the published VINs to work out the interior color so that I only had to look at a few of the Blazers they had.
