Default what is this fuse for?



I was fiddling around and noticed this fuse and went to check and make sure it was good and when i pulled it out it just fell apart, any idea on what this is for? its a number 30

my stereo perhaps? i didnt hook it up originally so im not sure.

is this on that blazer in your profile pic? and what year is it?? it looks after market could be for a radio or another accessory can you see where the wires lead to

its the 04 blazer, im thinking its the amp fuse but im not 100% sure.

guess i will find out when i leave from work in 1 minute lol

could be kinda small for an amp but u never know ...

mine looks exactly like that too. in my case, its for my security/remote start system. do you have an aftermarket alarm, remote start, keyless entry or all?

alarm yes, but its the factory alarm. i drove home fine, didnt notice anything not working. i think its the amp fuse. i dont have it installed right now so i couldnt tell if it was off or not.

I have never seen an amp fuse like that before, besides the ones that are ACTUALLY part of the amp.

It ain't factory, guaranteed. Could be for a remote start, stereo, fog lamps, who knows. Follow the wire and see what it goes to.
