after the distrubtor went out in my avenger, i was driving my dads ranger around til my car got out of the shop, wrecked the ranger in a bad storm, got the avenger back, but i was tired of all the other problems i had with it, so i went on the look for a blazer/jimmy, cuz i loved my buddys blazer, and found one craigslist at a small dealership, and went and got it.
and i love it

A buddy of mine in high school had a jimmy, somewhere between 95-97. That thing was a beast, it would go just about anywhere a bigger truck would, was good on gas, and with almost 200,000 on it the only thing that went wrong was a wheels bearing. So needless to say I got one a couple years later and have loved it.

hmmm. this is the 2nd 2nd Gen blazer. never had a 1st gen. the first blazer that i had I got a really good deal on and it was well taken care of. it had all the paper work where the trans had been rebuilt. I just fell in love with it. but the motor in my 79 C10 Scottsdale blew up i sold the 1st blazer to pay for the motor swap on the c10. later got to where i couldnt afford 9 to 10 mpgs in the C10 so went car shopping and found the blazer i own now. never got around to customizing the other blazer otherwise i'd probably still have it lol. although i still miss my C10. she was an awsome truck. 4x4 long bed and a 400 small block.

let's see.................

came across my first one, a '84, 2.8 w/5spd. (after my '81 LB got wrote off by a red light runner), and fell in luv with the colour of it, the moment i saw it. i originally saw it on a Saturday @ a swap meet, went home that night, kicked myself the next morning, and drove the 1 1/2 hours back to the swap meet to get it! the colour is off (15 yr old photo), it's more like banana cream pie yellow.

while my current Blazer is the first 2nd gen i've owned, i've had a total of 6 1st gen S & T series trucks (and a Dime p/u as well).

my most favorite one was my '92 T15 Jimmy. had to drive for over 2 1/2 hours on a Friday night, to go look @ it-even after pushing my then current truck about 2 miles back to my shop, 'cause the fuel pump broke on it! (i think it knew it was gonna get replaced). while i'm kinda hard on these little trucks, the do stand up to the torture i inflict on them (for the most part), and are quite the nimble SUV.

i see myself always owning a Blazer. even though they can **** you off royally, we still luv them.

Growing up I always wanted a K5 Blazer but I never came up with the $. I had just arrived at Ft. Campbell Ky. and I needed some wheels a few of the guys went to some dealership and came back with cars so I went there and saw this Blazer sitting in the back. It was jet black with black interior (happens to be my favorite). Granted it was a 1986 4 spd manual, no a/c or ps, had a 4cyl engine and 4x4.

I just liked the body lines. In time I found that it was very offroad capable and I could go to the same places that I went with my humvee. I eventually sold it, bought it back, traded it, bought another one, gave it back to the dealer finally ending up with the one I have now.

Well my story starts with a 97 s10 ext cab with only 50k on it and a topper and 2wd. Well it met its demise when my ex wife's 16 yo bro took it 4 wheeling while I was recovering from injuries I received over in iraq and had a cast on and was un able to drive. She blamed me even though iit was impossible for me to have done it. I loved that truck and it was cherry the previous owner was an old man so it was immaculate plus it mad it up and down the mountains with ease and got fairly decent mileage.
Well fast forward 2 yrs and have another vehicle I was just starting to love since it was new to me and not more then 2 weeks into owning it I got tagged by a 86 s15 and it totalled out my car but only broke the turn signal on the truck and as much as I hated losing my car but was impressed at the lack of damage on the truck.
Fast forward to november of this past year and I needed a little truck vehicle to haul the motor for regal and the trans am. I looked on cl for a ranger or blazer or s10 and fell into this for all of 500 bucks and have thrown a set of tires on it and ported the top end since it popped a head gasket and I have another car to use till it is up again. When I get all the cars up again I will search for a 2000+ 2dr 4x4 because this one will become the woman's winter truck.

My parents have own 3 blazers since they have been married, that's all they used to drive me around in. And since i couldn't buy a vehicle right away they lent me there's until I saved enough for my own car. I was going to buy a grand am but I stumbled upon a nice, used blazer so I bought it

I'm sure I'll have many more blazers in my future

i bought my blazer off my cousin after he blew the engine. I was looking for a blazer or bronco for the removable top and for mudding. Once i get a new motor for it i will be driving it all the time.

Cool More like 'what have I done this last 2 weeks'

lets see...
ordered the tires & rims from Logan & they'll be on the blazer AS SOON AS HE SHIPS THE DAMN THINGS lol
made the shackles for the leaf springs & they'll go to powder coating today
ordered a MAF that will be here Thurs. from rockauto.com
when the tires get here they'll go on as well as the shackles with new bolts & bushings & the T Bar twist of an inch
I was going to sell my "old" tires to the shop I take the blazer to for his wifes durango
but it just hit me, duuuuuuuuh its a custom muffler shop, get dual exhaust in trade plus a hundred bucks in my pocket!!!
