I am back.... well my New Blazer made it through OK on its first official day of many days buried with mail. 650 stops and wearing the brakes real good. I am sure a brake job will be in the future with only 42,989 miles on it as of this eve. Looking on the Car Fax the previous owner only drove an average of 2,441 miles per year. Gosh I do that in a month.

Yes second time out I have a caliper drag sounds like so it will be brake job as soon as I can get to it. That is what happens when you don't drive something much. Previous owner let it set a lot during the years he owned it.

I haven't even gotten mine yet, but I'm already hunting for parts and clearing out garage space!

Went ahead and aligned the front suspension on my newest Blazer after 4 days using it all day. Going home it was crisp sharp as an arrow down the road. Kept going straight even with my hands off the steering wheel to check it out. All is OK now. Went over 43,000 miles already at 43,360. Will be at 44,000 very soon.

Just went to pull a part and got me a back bumper with my stepson. The wasp nest was an added bonus.😁

Replaced the Blend Door Actuator. This definitely would be easier with a 10 or 12 y.o. around with small hands! :-)

[QUOTE=trollerguy;681515]Went ahead and aligned the front suspension on my newest Blazer after 4 days using it all day. Going home it was crisp sharp as an arrow down the road. Kept going straight even with my hands off the steering wheel to check it out.

I just replaced the inner and outer tie-rod ends, adjusting sleeves, idler arm, and pitman arm on the '84 Chevy GMC C15 I got for my son to replace the Blazer which was totaled. I got it fairly straight just by eyeballing it and it runs straight down the road as well. I still need to take it in for the final alignment though.
