Alex, you weren't kidding about needing to fix the rust-i mean rot-on your Blazer. makes the little pealing issues i have seem so minor.

thanks.
The bad thing is I didn't even know that she was used as an anchor until I went out to check the progress and saw it attached to my hitch. lol.

And I was close to having a new engine but between my hubby spending just over $1000 on his truck and rent on our new house we just couldn't afford it... So I guess its gonna be a little longer before I get to have a vehicle.

well lets see measured the roof for the roof rack i'm getting soon found my hitch lock and hitch locked it on (luckily found the key) and decided today...is the day...i spend 5 hours washing and waxing her..being that it is 1pm here, now...and i started at 8 am and i REALLY dunno what i was thinking..took her for a niiiiice long wash at the wash bays 6$s later and 1 foam brush, wash clear coat protectant and wash off later) get her home and begin drying..in the middle of drying he back i notice the winds picking up (oh friggin glory!) and it doesn't help there's a butt load of pollen and things falling from the trees...having a dirt and stone parking lot doesn't help either GRR!!!, so grab he hose n bucket RE wash by hand the front after finishing the back, now to restart the drying the front...ok...got that done...grab my bottle of liquid ice turtle wax and do half the hood and left quarter pannel and let them dry up while i'm taking tthe LS emblems off the doors...15 mins pass..i'm so excited to wipe off the wax, clean off the hood...and get half way through the quarter pannel when i stand up to see...oh jee...hoods already got a coating of dust..so give it a quick dry cloth wipe down...so time passes...and i'm to the last bit...got the tailgate waxed waiting for it to dry and some tail light lens cleaner waiting for it to dry..time goes by get the tailgate cleaned off and the tail lights...stand back about 10 ft...OMFG (proceedes to rip out hair) its dusty..AGAIN...well by this point i'm to the FK-IT point lol and not to mention i totally forgot the power buffer at my house...omg..this day was pure hell and chaos all rolled into one...and i'm so frustrated..this town is a dust bowl...having a sparkling truck here...IMPOSSIBLE...and used A LOT of my wax...wow..so...that what i got done..might go fidget with the amber HID lights...damn wiring is all goofed up and wire up he indicator light for when i switch them on or i seem to forget about them. but hooray can't wait for the roof rack and lights...YIPPIEEEEE another week and i'll have them on!!

Default Front stabiliser bar links

Did both front stabiliser bar links today - took around half an hour a side, old ones were in real bad shape. Still have a slight knocking from the drivers side when hitting bumps, had a good look around the ball joints & found a tiny bit of play in the lower joint on that side - just ordered one on Ebay & will be my next job when it arrives. Still have the original riveted joints so not really looking forward to doing it - hopefully won't be too bad a job though.

This weekend I casually did this to both sides so I could install the last pieces of my front end build, brand new shiny Federal Mogul front differential seals & Moog control arm bushings. isnt it so weird i did those last?

Oh well, everything came apart real nice because its only been together for a couple oil changes. Plus I got to give everything a good inspection. Found out i have another broken drivers side motor mount. Broken like 3 or 4 of those POS things now.

see, that's why you need to supervise the boys when they're playing together.

Last night I attempted to install the new radio. I had the harness all wired up before I put it in the truck. Pulled the dash off, ran the wire for the aux. cable, and slid the radio in. Started the truck, no power. Checked all my connections, everything was good. I pulled the radio back out and hooked it up directly to the battery and it turned right on. At that point I ran out of daylight, so I brought everything back in the house. Turns out the connector I used for the ground didn't cut both cables.

Electricity tends to work better when you have a complete circuit. So I'll try again tonight, hopefully nothing else goes wrong.
