Recharging the battery! With all this staying home, I've had no reason to drive it.

I have a pretty standard Shumacher charger. It can charge at 2 amps, 10 amps, and if necessary, supply 50 amps to help start immediately. Whenever possible I'll use the 2 amp setting. I also carry in the truck at NOCO Genius 1000 Amp Jump Starter.

Nice. I have a Schumacher SL65 in the glovebox for jumps as well

I did that once a week for about two weeks to help with blowing all the stuff (carbon) out and because I put it through some hard use. Heat, heavy throttle, hours long drives to/from/in NYC and driving fast there too, general "beating it up" a little bit as per ITU (Italian Tune-Up.) This truck was run a couple ? weeks on 5 cylinders so Cylinder #2 needed some love, plus the SeaFoams from the previous engine that have not occured since the new brake booster, and the extensive throttle body cleanings that took place before I found a proper intake piece (the Hat saga.)

They say "carboned up" = higher compression so I also wanted to see if things smoothed out. For what it is worth, they appear to have..

I gassed it up regular gas last few days, I think everything is about as clean and smooth as it is going to get.

l may do an oil change on mine today. I am pretty sure I have the "wrong dipstick" in there, as the oil level seems to be way above the hash marks even on 5 quarts of oil . (I drained the old and put back in yesterday to verify this.) As such.. What is the capacity/total capacity on a 4.3, and what is the best stuff that you all usually put in there? (Grade or viscosity, if you have a favorite brand or type I suppose please share too lol, there are always different preferences.

This is why I think I have the wrong oil, and if i should even bother trying another dipstick (if it is not too long then okay?) as this is 5 quarts of oil ..

I wiped it off, to show the dipstick I have.

I could maybe also just leave it, if I know for sure the capacity with a filter is 5 quarts...

Today, I also fixed the interior light and got it washed today.

Took a day and a half in between doing stuff but got my body lift on and broke a bolt doing it seems to be the common bolt to break right under drivers side.
