Today I installed a right-rear bumper trim panel.

Original trim piece stuck on with double sided tape. (Sloppy job by the body shop)

Old trim piece removed and tape residue removed and surface cleaned

Backside of old trim piece. Normally there are push-nuts on the plastic studs to help hold it in place.

New trim piece in place.

I put my new AC Delco alternator in and now my temp gauge needle is all the way to the right. I just can't win sometimes.

In positive news, I'm ordering one of those truck bed LEDs with the turn signal/brake light programming because my spare gas can covers up my right lights and I don't wanna get pulled over.

so since I already know what I look like and I shouldn't be putting my makeup on while I'm driving, this is my fix for when the stupid little lid dies... take the cover off snip the wires take the lights out and turn the mirror over.

you know you can just unplug it instead of cutting the wires, right?

haha that would require screwdrivers and patience, I was more of a side of the road sick of the visor lid smacking me in the head when I pull it down for Sun mode but yes I will investigate that one later since I probably have a hot wire tucked into the felt of my visor come to think of it.🙄 aside from that I'm normally a vehicle's forever home so I'm not really worried about screwing over the next buyer LOL. I don't think the next scrap yard guy's going to be worried about his makeup in the yard either.

Dunno if this counts, but I built a rack to hold my 2nd set of wheels and tires for my Blazer and then some lol

Pressure treated 2x4 since it's living outdoors. Probably going to drape a tarp over it all to keep the sun off them. Would love to have put them in the garage, but yeah no room for that in my single car garage... too much crap already in there lol

That looks cool, but how do you plan to secure everything? We live in interesting times.
